“Lincoln has always worked so hard for every milestone he achieves; everyone has always said he just goes at his own pace. We learned last September there’s a reason that Lincoln goes at his own pace. it is his MDS diagnosis. Our world turned upside down in good ways and bad ways, knowing that there are reasons for everything that Lincoln has gone through makes it easier.
Before the diagnosis I kept saying, I just want a name for what was wrong.
Now I just want a cure for my baby and every other family’s baby too. It’s coming and we have HOPE. Hope that Lincoln will keep all his milestones he’s worked so hard for and will continues to strive.
Hope that other families and children will not have to hear there’s not a cure when they receive this devastating diagnosis.”
